Review

I read through this book and found new perspectives on every page. I had an infinite number of those "Ahhh, yes, of course!" moments - and I finished each chapter with an array of post-it notes covered with ideas to implement, quotes to live by, and things to consider. -- From the foreword by Ellie Middleton, Autistic & ADHD Advocate

A deeply validating reminder that peace *is* possible, however your brain works! It's super refreshing to find a book formatted in a way that caters to those of us who struggle with focus. Thank you for a book we can finally read without worrying we're 'doing it wrong'! -- I Am Paying Attention

A fantastic user friendly book which is both an excellent resource for those working with ADHD clients, and also a bible for adults as they navigate their journey pre diagnosis, validate their daily life experiences and give them strategies to manage their ADHD and live their best lives -- Dr Rob Baskin, Independent Consultant Adult Psychiatrist and Specialist in ADHD

ADHD: An A to Z is like having a friend walk you through your early journey with ADHD when the NHS websites are full of scary symptomatic speak. Leanne's book is exceptionally well written via the lens of an ADHDer for ADHDers - the book packs the latest research from experts in the field of ADHD and personal lived experience which gives readers a sense of validation and solidarity. What's most important is that the book is accessible, practical and broken down in manageable chunks - perfect for someone with ADHD. -- Samantha Hiew PhD, Founder and Director of ADHD Girls Ltd

This book is a must read for anyone who is getting to grips with and understanding ADHD. The clear and easy to follow format of the book makes it an easy and pleasurable read. -- Mike Pickets, Ambassador for Nutritious Minds and Founder of Raver Tots

A fantastic manual that does exactly what it says in the title: explores the key issues from A to Z that are really pertinent to anyone with ADHD.

The book's format is really accessible for ADHDers - you can scan through the contents page and dip into the chapters that are most relevant to you. Each chapter is packed with really interesting ideas, lots of practical advice and exercises to complete and it's all written in a really engaging way. An absolutely invaluable resource! -- Sonia Ali, author of ‘A Teenage Girl’s Guide to Living Well with ADHD’.

About the author

Leanne Maskell is a model, law graduate and activist. Having modelled since the age of 13, her first ever job appeared in Vogue UK and worked for brands such as ASOS, Urban Outfitters and i-D Magazine, during her 13 year, international career.

Whilst studying law, she was able to apply her knowledge to the modelling industry & understand how exploitation of vulnerable people was happening on a global scale: models didn't know their rights. So the Amazon Fashion bestseller, the Model Manifesto, was published, debuting on the cover of the Times.

After being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and learning about the 7 year waiting list for an NHS assessment, Leanne went on to publish ADHD: an A to Z. This is aimed at giving an accessible, easy way for people struggling with ADHD symptoms to maximise the potential of their own brains and navigate the complicated mental health system.

Leanne also works full time in law.
